If you are unable to keep an appointment, please call us at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule or cancel so we may help another patient needing treatment. Our veterinary-client relationship is based on mutual trust and respect. To keep appointments on time, we provide multiple text and email reminders for all clients.

Late Arrival Policy

We ask you to arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time so your pet may benefit from the full exam time. A grace period of 15 minutes will be granted for unforeseen delays that you may encounter while traveling to our clinic. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for an appointment, we will offer options of being seen as a work-in, day admission, or rescheduling the exam as our schedule permits. We strive to ensure clients and patients are seen in a timely manner and appreciate your punctual arrival.  Clients who have three or more late arrivals for appointments will not be allowed to schedule future appointments, and will only be seen as emergencies or day admissions.  Additional fees will apply. 

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel an appointment, call at least 24 hours in advance. If you reach us after business hours, please leave a voicemail.  Early cancellation will allow another patient access to timely care.

No-Show and Late Cancellation Policy

This section applies to a client who misses an appointment or scheduled procedure without cancelling ahead of time, or attempts to cancel their appointment with less than 24 hours notice.  Missed or last-minute cancellation appointments will require pre-payment of the exam fee when rescheduling.  Missed procedures will require a $150 pre-payment fee when rescheduling. This pre-payment will be applied to the invoice after the rescheduled exam or procedure.  If the client does not attend the rescheduled appointment, then the pre-payment fee will be forfeited.  If the client misses three appointments, we will be forced to terminate our veterinary-client relationship.
